This is a great opportunity to join a growing company in the gaming space. They are around 5 years old and going through a second expansion phase, and looking to bring in an expert in frontend to work closely with their Head of Engineering. You will be working on the front end of their gaming analytics platform which allows players to see their performance stats in real-time for games such as League of Legends and Counter Strike.
This is a senior IC position that would be well suited to an expert front end developer who is the go-to person to fix problems with a complex code base. You will work on refactoring and optimizing the codebase to ensure scalability and reliability. Built with Electron.js which holds the React based browser application, deep knowledge of JavaScript is essential.
Experience needed:
- 8 years professional frontend development
- Expert in TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of Rust would be advantageous
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing service worker scripts for caching
- Experience with performance tuning and high-performance applications
- Additionally, experience playing the games mentioned above will be a big plus.
This is an on-site role in San Francisco. In office Monday to Thursday, Friday is optional remote.
