Staff Flutter Engineer

Overview

This company is seeking a talented Staff Flutter Engineer to join their team in shaping a new platform that enhances gaming experiences through interactive mobile applications and dynamic overlays. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate various data streams into cohesive and engaging user interfaces, while also crafting innovative overlays that enrich gameplay. The contributions of the Staff Flutter Engineer will be critical in shaping both the functional and visual aspects of the platform, ultimately improving how players interact with their favourite games.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging UI/UX using Flutter & Dart
• Work with a combination of data from several different games and sources
• Collaborate with the design team to implement cross-platform, responsive interfaces
• Implement support for new games and overlays, as well as supporting existing features
• Debug and fix issues from development to production
• Propose and implement solutions for technical problems
• Perform code reviews following best practices that are considered effective among peers

Requirements

• Proficiency in Flutter for both mobile and desktop platforms
• Solid understanding of Dart programming language
• Familiarity with GraphQL / Rest APIs
• Knowledge of Git for version control
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Capability to perform efficiently in both remote and hybrid settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the gaming industry
• Proficiency with accessible design and accessibility best practices
• Familiarity with Figma
• Experience with custom Flutter embeddings
